Why You Should Avoid Wix, Weebly, And Go Daddy Website Builders

1. Limited Features

The biggest disadvantage of web builders is limited functionality. If you need an information based
website (think brochure in website form), website builders will NOT be able to handle all of your
content and desired functionality. As your business grows you will likely need more out of your
website. At some point you will need extra functionality that a website builder just can’t deliver. Want
to add a web store? Wix can’t support that. Need a blog? Not happening on Weebly. Looking to build a
closed online community? Squarespace is not for you.
You will have to start over on another platform in order to get the functionality you want. Starting over
means more money and more time to add a new feature to your website.

2. Lack of Control

Most website builders will try to make decisions for you. And when something goes wrong and breaks
it will be very difficult to fix it. Support for website builders is often limited, especially if you use one
of the smaller ones. You’ll end up spending hours pouring over support documents looking for an
answer that simply doesn’t exist.
Even if you are able to find a solution for that one problem you might create another problem in the
process.

3. Not Responsive

Websites built with web builders are often not responsive. This means that if you view your website on
a weird size phone or a tablet, or a smaller window on your computer things will not display as they
should. Responsive websites change and reformat as you change the size of the viewing window. This
website is responsive, so, if you resize the internet window on your computer you’ll see the website
change in real-time to fit.
If You Are Using A Website Builder, You Are Going To Instantly Be Years Behind The
Curve.

4. Templates Are Deceiving

EVERY website builder claims to have beautiful templates for websites. Let me tell you a secret about
templates: unless you have the exact same content parts as the template your website will never look as
good as the demo. A template also is not a substitute for a designer. If you are making substitutions,
replace photos, change fonts on a template I can guarantee you that the beautiful, professionally
designed template that you picked out will no longer look professional.

Google Analytics: What Is It?

http://mnweb.x10host.com

Google has been famous for everything that it provides… –for free of course. It has even increased the size of the Email (G-mail) storage to 2.6 GB. Since then, it has started launching a huge variety of products & services, which contains 50 online services. It was in May 2005 that Google acquired a company named Urchin Software Corporation which provided a web service called ‘Urchin on Demand’. Henceforth, the service was renamed to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is an excellent solution for all the website related needs, starting from the source which brought the visitors to your site to how they interacted with your website. Hence, it provides good results as to how the site should be designed/ modified so as to attract more visitors or how to do better marketing for your product online. Some of the features of Google Analytics are given below.

First, it is much easier to use. With the special AdWords feature, Google provides more flexibility with the keywords and also provides you immediate ROI results. It also provides good suggestions as to which keywords can make the site or product more attractive. Additionally, it focuses on only those modifications (in your website) which will gain you profits. As the service is available in many languages (English, German, Spanish, Korean, etc.) there is a wider scope for improvement of the site along with the marketing campaign.

As Analytics is powered by the same server which runs Google, it can be reliably used for even top corporate projects. Also, it is very easy to use. For example, instead of purchasing or downloading some software or script, just pasting the tracking code in the web pages directly begins the tracking. Google Analytics also provides executive summaries of the conversions, and traffic directly to you so that you don’t have to hunt for the reports. You can then comfortably compare keywords, revenue, & basically the performance of the website. It also provides you with comparative reports of the performance, so if you need to compare this weeks performance with last week’s you can very well get the entire tabular data. This service extends so much that you can tally this winter’s reports with last summer’s reports. Google Analytics can also be used for e-commerce websites, as you can compare revenues, arrange & modify campaigns & get a whole view of the metrics.

Another special feature of Google Analytics is what’s called “Funnel” visualization. Sometimes it so happens that a visitor starts exploring your site but quits in the middle. Mostly, it is due to puzzling or maze-like data or irrelevant information on the site that confuses the visitor. Google tracks the positions of the quitting & hence provides you the opportunity of modifying that particular area of the site. Google also provides you the segmented visitor report, which includes sorting of visitor information by location, by action, by new versus returning visitor, making it easier to compare the keywords and the traffic. Geo-targeting helps in tracking the location of the visitor and also gives your information about markets in various areas & their potentials. Hence, it provides you better information for market analysis & gives you more options of setting up or modifying your campaign in order to increase the market value of your website.

Google Analytics should be an integral part of your website. You are missing out on critical marketing data if you aren’t using it. Get started today!
